Today I made a Mediterranean feast. I made baba ghanouj and falafels, both for the first time.

Baba. This was damn-near perfect.
Falafels. (Or just "falafel"?) These weren't quite right. For some reason I ended up having to add a ton of flour to the batter for it to stick together and form a ball. This made the finished product taste more like a bland hush-puppy than a Mediterranean delicacy. Whatever it's deep-fried.
Feast!
